The forward, who missed 20 games for Winnipeg because of an upper-body injury, has not played since Jan. 4.
The Jets, who have been outscored 15-5 on a season-long three-game losing streak (0-2-1), can reclaim first place in the Central Division; they trail the Nashville Predators by one point. A loss would give Winnipeg its longest skid since it lost four consecutive games from March 6-13, 2017.
The Golden Knights, who have lost two straight and are 3-8-1 in their past 12 games, are in third place in the Pacific Division, 11 points behind the San Jose Sharks.
