Since ending their five-game losing streak, the Arizona Coyotes are 4-2-0, and have done it without their top goaltender (Mike Smith, knee), top center (Martin Hanzal, lower body) and a top-four defenseman (Michael Stone, upper body). None of them will play Thursday. Tippett said Stone is close to returning and Smith, who is practicing, could play sometime next week. Hanzal is expected to return to the ice Friday. Defenseman Tony DeAngelo scored in his NHL debut, a 4-2 win at the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. He is the 10th Coyotes player to score in his first game, joining a group that includes teammates Max Domi, Connor Murphy and Tobias Rieder. DeAngelo will remain in the lineup as the Coyotes go for their fourth win in five games at Gila River Arena. Louis Domingue will start in goal for the 10th time in 11 games since Smith was injured. Domi scored his first goal of the season against the Avalanche, and also had two assists. "We're coming off one of our better games of the year," Tippett said. "We played a full 60 minutes."
