Golden Knights make expansion history

The Vegas Golden Knights know how to start a season.
A historic month for the NHL expansion team continued Sunday when the Golden Knights defeated the Boston Bruins, 3-1, to become the first team in the expansion era, and third in League history, to win four of its first five games in its inaugural season.

How's this for impressive company?
The Golden Knights joined the Montreal Canadiens (4-1-0 in 1917-18) and New York Rangers (4-1-0 in 1926-27) as the only franchises in NHL history to get four wins in the opening five games of their inaugural season, according to Elias.
The Golden Knights, Canadiens, Rangers and 1967-68 Los Angeles Kings (3-0-2) are the only teams to get at least eight points through five games in their inaugural season.
On Sunday, it was goalie Malcolm Subban's turn to lift the Golden Knights. The brother of Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban, Malcom won his Golden Knights debut against the team that cut him.
