Horse named after Red Wings forward takes Run for the Roses

Nyquist, the horse named after Detroit Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist, won the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, thrilling fans and lighting up Twitter

Not surprisingly, the Red Wings offered their best to the 8-0 horse.

Nyquist's win was so big, the Tampa Bay Lightning, who eliminated the Red Wings from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, also got involved.
