The Toronto Maple Leafs held a moment of silence honoring the victims of a tragic crash in the North York section of the city before Game 6 of their Eastern Conference First Round series against the Boston Bruins at Air Canada Centre on Monday.

Ten people died and 15 were injured when they were struck by a van that drove onto the sidewalk at the corner of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue, roughly 10 miles north of Air Canada Centre, at about 1:30 p.m. ET.

The home crowd in Toronto sang the Canadian national anthem as a sign of solidarity and the Maple Leafs made a point to have a moment of silence before the game.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with [the victims]," Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock told Pierre McGuire on NBCSN during the first period. "We've got an obligation right here to do our part and be hard against [the Bruins]."
