Capitals' Oshie day-to-day with illness

Washington forward to be re-evaluated Friday

Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie is day-to-day with an unspecified illness, the Capitals said Thursday.
Oshie, who did not attend practice Thursday, is Washington's second-leading goal scorer this season with a career-high 23 goals. Alex Ovechkin leads the Capitals and the NHL with 43 goals.

Oshie will be re-evaluated Friday before the Capitals play at the New Jersey Devils (7 p.m. ET; CSN-DC, MSG, NHL.TV).
