The Dallas Stars announced today that the organization will host a Reunion Lawn Partyon Saturday, July 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the base of iconic Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas. The team will be kicking off the 25th Anniversary season with a return to where it all started, at the site of Reunion Arena, where the Stars played home games upon moving to Dallas for the 1993-94 season through the 2000-01 campaign.
The Reunion Lawn Party is free of charge and will feature live music from The Special Edition along with a variety of food trucks, lawn games and other special activities.
"This is Reunion Lawn Party's third year and we are excited to be seen as a Dallas summer staple now," saidDusti Groskreutz, President of Reunion Tower. "From the fun bands to the laid back atmosphere with food trucks, it's truly a come one, come all type of atmosphere and it's great to bring the community together."

Adding to the outdoor backyard vibes, Reunion Lawn Party attendees can enjoy local fare from 15 of Dallas' most popular food trucks, including Ruthie's Rolling Café, Parrot Icce, Butcher's Son and What's Da Scoop. Amy Vanderoef will serve as the 2017 series emcee, accompanied by special surprise celeb guests who will create customized playlists for the evening.
Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase beverages from a wide selection of domestic and imported beers and wines. The Beer Garden host, Nodding Donkey, will pour the frosty brews all summer long. Lawn games will be available including bean bag toss, horseshoes and Frisbee.
