Brind'Amour coaches son, kids day before Eastern Conference Final

Rod Brind'Amour will coach whoever skates on the PNC Arena ice.

The Carolina Hurricanes head coach practiced with his son, Brooks, and forward Max Pacioretty's kids on the team's home ice a day before Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final.

NHL Network's Jackie Redmond posted a video on Twitter of Brind'Amour instructing the boys as Pacioretty watched from the bench.

Brind'Amour is a noted hockey dad and helps out coaching Brook's Junior Canes youth hockey team.

In April,

he cheered on his oldest son, Skyler, and the Quinnipiac University men's hockey team

during their National Championship run.
