Situation Room: No-goal call on Panthers stands

At 1:37 of the first period in the Penguins/Panthers game, Florida requested a Coach's Challenge to review the "Interference on the Goalkeeper" decision that resulted in a "no goal" call.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the Referee, the Situation Room confirmed that Florida's Riley Sheahan pushed Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith's pad and puck across the goal line. According to Rule 78.5 (ix) "Apparent goals shall be disallowed by the Referee when a goaltender has been pushed into the net together with the puck after making a save."
Therefore, the original call stands - no goal Florida Panthers.
Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Florida Panthers forfeit their time-out.
