Status report

The Flyers did not hold a morning skate. … Ristolainen has been practicing with the team, but the defenseman is expected to miss his sixth straight game since aggravating an injury against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 24. … Bahl will require season-ending surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. Coach Ryan Huska said the defenseman was injured during an off-ice warmup before Calgary’s 5-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Friday. "It’s a tough situation for him, for sure, but he’s doing fine," Huska said. "It's just a matter now of waiting to get the surgery done on it." … The Flames recalled Pachal, a defenseman, from Calgary of the American Hockey League on Sunday. … Cooley will start after missing the past five games. He was activated off injured reserve Thursday and backed up Wolf on Friday. The goalie missed the previous four games with a lower-body injury he sustained following a collision in the crease with Oilers forward Colton Dach with 12 seconds left in the first period of a 4-0 loss at the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 28.
