Sometimes it takes an entire defense to stop a puck from going in. And sometimes that entire defense still needs a little help from the post.

Such was the case for the Florida Panthers late in
Thursday night's win against the Winnipeg Jets
.
With 3:43 remaining in the game and the Panthers clinging to a 5-4 lead, the Jets thought they had the equalizer, but a combination of goalie James Reimer, defensemen Keith Yandle and Aaron Ekblad and the right post put that idea to rest.
Jets forward Kyle Connor tried to put in a backhand over a sprawed out Reimer, but Yandle jumped in front of the net and appeared to deflect it away.
After dinging the post, Jets forward Mark Scheifele had a shot at a rebound, but Ekblad got his stick on the puck to slow it just enough for Reimer to fall on it, backwards, leaving the Jets stunned.
