MANNHEIM - The NHL® Global Fan Tour, a touring tribute to the League and its European connection, will visit Mannheim (GER), Kapuzinerplanken (68161, Mannheim, Germany) on Wednesday, September 11. The event will be free and open to the public from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. UTC+02.

The NHL Global Fan Tour will feature two 20-foot traveling containers, each custom-designed to provide a first-class fan experience for fans of all ages from August 25 through Oct 3. The mobile technology container will feature interactive player information screens embedded into the walls of this hockey sanctuary, allowing fans to gain more insight on their favorite players through NHL game footage, all at the control of their own fingertips. Fans can also spend time playing EA SPORTS™ NHL® 20 and stop at the Upper Deck tent to get their very own personalized hockey card created.
The mobile museum container will allow fans the opportunity to sit in a replica of an NHL locker room stall and try on hockey equipment their favorite players wear. Courtesy of the Hockey Hall of Fame, participants also will be able to see key artifacts from past and present European stars and revel in some of hockey's oldest artifacts.
A variety of interactive activations will be available for fans of all ages, helping to expand and explore their love for the game. The Hardest Shot station will allow shooters to test the velocity of their slapshot and how it
stacks up against some of the NHL's hardest shots. Fans can also put their finesse to the test in the Accuracy Shooting Challenge, as they attempt to hit a series of stationary targets in the net. A stickhandling activation station and a long-distance accuracy shooting challenge are also part of the NHL Global Fan Tour, offering fans the opportunity to test their hockey skills.
The interactive Kids Corner will give the game's youngest fans the chance to play ball hockey in their own hockey rink and enjoy various hockey-themed coloring books and other items.
The 2019 NHL Global Fan Tour™ will be free and open to the public as a complement to the 2019 NHL Global Series™ and 2019 NHL Global Series Challenge™ games involving the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers. The Blackhawks will face off against Berlin Eisbaren in an exhibition game on Sept. 29 at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. The Flyers vs. Lausanne HC exhibition game on Sept. 30 will take place at Vaudoise Arena in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Blackhawks and Flyers will then meet in Prague, Czech Republic to open their NHL regular season on Oct. 4 at the O2 Arena.
