The Montreal Canadiens forward forgot that he'd gotten new skates fitted with his old blades, so when he laced up for practice Tuesday, he put on the old skates, which had no blades in them.
And when he stepped out onto the ice, well, he went splat.

A dumbfounded and giggling Drouin had to be dragged off the ice, and his teammates got a good laugh out of it, including forward Max Pacioretty, who roasted him for his silly mistake.
