Justin Schultz
agreed to a two-year, $6 million contract with the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday. It has an average annual value of $3 million.

The 32-year-old defenseman had 23 points (four goals, 19 assists) in 74 games for the Washington Capitals last season. He also had three points (one goal, two assists) in six Stanley Cup Playoff games.
"Justin is a dependable, right-shot defenseman that will help balance out our blue line," Kraken general manager Ron Francis said. "He brings a veteran presence, and we're happy to welcome him to Seattle."

Selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round (No. 43) of the 2008 NHL Draft, Schultz has 264 points (57 goals, 207 assists) in 602 regular-season games with the Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Capitals, and 32 points (seven goals, 25 assists) in 67 playoff games.

to a two-year, $4 million contract ($2 million AAV). The 32-year-old is expected to be the backup to Philipp Grubauer while Chris Driedger recovers from surgery he had in June to repair a torn ACL.
Jones went 12-18-3 with a 3.42 goals-against average and .900 save percentage in 35 games (33 starts) for the Philadelphia Flyers last season.
Signed by the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent on Oct. 2, 2008, Jones is 198-150-32 with a 2.68 GAA, .907 save percentage and 25 shutouts in 396 games (388 starts) with the Kings, San Jose Sharks and Flyers. He is also 32-27 with a 2.37 GAA, .917 save percentage and six shutouts in 62 playoff games (60 starts).
"Martin is a veteran who has a wealth of experience and adds competition to our goaltending group," Francis said. "He has had success at every level he has played, and we are looking forward to adding him to our team."
