'Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi' celebrates Penguins

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby was the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but Harnarayan Singh and the "Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi" team contributed to several of the postseason's most memorable moments.
Singh and the crew from OMNI Television's Punjabi-language broadcasts are in Pittsburgh for the Penguins' championship parade Wednesday, and he got to deliver his most famous call of the playoffs to the Penguins with the Stanley Cup on hand.

When Penguins center Nick Bonino scored the game-winning goal late in the third period of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the San Jose Sharks, Singh delivered a "Bonino, Bonino, Bonino" call that spread virally across the Internet.

Singh was called to the stage Wednesday to deliver the "Bonino, Bonino, Bonino" call again before the fans on hand at the parade.
It was Singh's most memorable call, but it wasn't the only goal call he delivered that sparked the interests of the masses. He called Crosby
"the former kid"
after the Penguins captain scored in overtime of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Singh also delivered a truly "excellent" reference from "The Simpsons" when Sharks defenseman Brent Burns scored early in Game 5 of the Cup Final.

Singh's "Bonino, Bonino, Bonino" call from the Cup Final actually debuted in the playoffs when Bonino scored during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round against the Washington Capitals, albeit in a tongue-twisted fashion.
