NEW YORK -- New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist stole the show at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday when he took a goal away from Boston Bruins forward Lee Stempniak.
With the Rangers leading the Bruins 3-1 in the third period, Boston's Brad Marchand took a shot on Lundqvist, who stopped it with his glove. Stempniak picked up the rebound and appeared to have an open net, but Lundqvist made a lunging glove save.

Replays showed Lundqvist stopping the puck just before it crossed the goal line, and upon review the on-ice call of no goal was upheld. About three minutes later, J.T. Miller scored to give the Rangers a 4- 1 lead.
