Granlund

Mikael Granlund will become a free agent and field offers before he considers re-signing with the Nashville Predators, his agent told The Athletic on Monday.

The center can become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
"We will be seeing what the open market has to offer," said Todd Diamond, Granlund's agent. "We will not re-sign before free agency begins."
Granlund scored 30 points (17 goals, 13 assists) in 63 games during the regular season, his second with the Predators, and had one assist in a four-game loss to the Arizona Coyotes in the best-of-5 Stanley Cup Qualifiers.
After John Hynes replaced Peter Laviolette as Nashville coach on Jan. 6, Granlund led the Predators with 11 goals in 28 games, and Nashville forwards with 19:07 of average ice time. He was traded to the Predators by the Minnesota Wild for forward Kevin Fiala on Feb. 25, 2019.
Selected by the Wild with the No. 9 pick in the 2010 NHL Draft, Granlund has 352 points (111 goals, 241 assists) in 540 regular-season games with the Predators and Wild, and 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) in 49 Stanley Cup Playoff games. He scored NHL career highs of 26 goals and 69 points in 2016-17.
