The Empire State Building was beaming with New York Islanders pride again.

With the Islanders winning their Eastern Conference First Round series against the Washington Capitals in five games on Thursday, the New York City landmark put its orange and blue lights on display. The Islanders beat the Capitals 4-0 to advance.

This was the third time the Empire State Building had blue and orange lights this postseason.

got his hands on the controls as the team was getting ready to start its Stanley Cup Qualifier series against the Florida Panthers. The building also got the Islanders treatment after New York won the Qualifier.

The Empire State Building regularly changes the color of its lights to recognize or support various occasions and causes. Luckily no mascot intervention was needed this time around.
