On Thursday night, the son of Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Dan Girardi was the "Thunder Kid" before a game against the New York Rangers at Amalie Arena.
Landon got to skate out to center ice with the glowing hockey stick to introduce his dad's team before warmups.
After a line full of high fives with the team, Landon was allowed to skate to the blue line and stand next to his dad for the playing of the national anthem.
When Landon met his old man out there, he had quite a big hug for him.
