Benn, Seguin look to stay hot for Dallas; Calgary begins seven-game homestand

The Game

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen is expected to make his second start of the season in the second of back-to-back games for the Dallas Stars when they visit the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday.

Lehtonen is 0-3-0 with a 4.00 goals-against average and an .851 save percentage. Dallas has lost the first two games of a five-game road trip and is 1-4-0 on the road this season.

The Flames will open a season-long seven-game homestand. Calgary, which went 24-17-0 at home in 2016-17, is 1-3-0 at home this season. The Flames are 1-3-0 in their past four games after starting the season 4-2-0.

 

Players to watch

Dallas forward Jamie Benn has five goals during a four-game goal streak and 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in his past eight games. He has 28 points (15 goals, 13 assists) in 25 career games against the Flames.

Calgary forward Johnny Gaudreau is tied for eighth in NHL scoring with 12 points (two goals, 10 assists). He has six goals in nine career games against the Stars.
