Sven Andrighetto had a goal and an assist for the Colorado Avalanche in a 4-2 win against the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena.
Semyon Varlamov made 34 saves for Colorado to improve to 3-0-0 in the preseason. Nail Yakupov scored at 16:24 of the first period for a 1-0 Avalanche lead before Andrighetto scored with 49 seconds remaining in the period to make it 2-0. Mikko Rantanen and Tyson Jost scored for Colorado in the third period. Colin Miller and Shea Theodore scored for the Golden Knights, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 18 saves.
