BostonBruins.com- Bruins prospects Daniel Vladar and Jakub Zboril have been named to the Czech Republic's preliminary roster for the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Vladar has played six games with the Providence Bruins and posted a 3-0-3 record with a 2.84 goals against average and .914 save percentage. The 19-year-old netminder was the second-youngest player in the AHL. He also played two games for the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL - where he was assigned on Thursday - going 1-0-1 with a 2.88 GAA and .909 save percentage.
A 6-foot-5, 185-pounder out of Prague, Vladar was drafted 75th overall by the Bruins in the 2015 NHL Draft. He was on the team's World Juniors roster in 2015 and 2016.
Zboril is in his third season with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The left-shot defenseman has six goals and 10 assists in 18 games this season, while posting a plus-13 rating and 12 penalty minutes.
The 19-year-old, who was drafted 13th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft, played in five games at last year's World Junior Championship, registering one assist.
