Holtyby

After the entire country watched with bated breath on Tuesday, the results are in for Washington D.C.'s next big thing: Braden Holtby's bobblehead.

That's right, after a heated and contentious election that pitted teammate against teammate, Holtby's bobblehead narrowly defeated the little likenesses of Tom Wilson and Justin Williams on Washington Capitals Election Night.
In a special 24-second edition of "The Situation Room," CNN's Wolf Blitzer announced the winner in a video tweeted out by the Capitals. Fans cast their votes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday on social media using the #CapsElectionNight hashtag. Holtby won the contest with 47 percent of the vote.

Wilson's bobblehead had the body of Wilson the volleyball from the Tom Hanks movie "Cast Away." Williams' bobblehead had some wild hair and even got a late endorsement from captain Alex Ovechkin. But it was Holtby's figure, standing in front of a net and preparing to drink from a water bottle that won the night.
Fans will be able to get their Holtby bobbleheads March 21st at the Verizon Center before the Capitals take on the Calgary Flames.
