Bobby Ryan will not play for the Ottawa Senators against the Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadiens this weekend after injuring his hand in a 2-1 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

The forward did not practice Friday. The Senators play back-to-back afternoon games at the Flyers on Saturday (1 p.m. ET; NHLN, NBCSP, RDS2, TSN5, NHL.TV) and at the Canadiens on Sunday.
Ryan has 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) in 39 games this season. The 30-year-old has missed 10 games this season because of hand injuries: eight games from Oct. 24 to Nov. 11 because of a broken right index finger, and games on Dec. 21 and Jan. 9 after that injury was aggravated.
"He won't play this weekend for sure," Senators coach Guy Boucher said. "He's seeing a specialist now and we'll know the extent of it. It's not the same thing. It's the same finger but not the same thing. It's not on the bone itself, more joint related, so that's why it's a little complicated. We'll see where that takes us."
Boucher said Ryan is highly doubtful to play next week, when the Senators have home games against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday and Nashville Predators on Thursday.
