The Chicago Blackhawks gave back to the community by volunteering with Cradles to Crayons in bonus footage of Episode 2 of "EPIX Presents Road to the NHL Outdoor Classics."
"It's great we can come here and help out. We enjoy it. Any time you can help, it's good," Blackhawks forward Vinnie Hinostroza said.

Cradles and Crayons works with families to find out which children are in need of clothes for winter. Hinostroza and his Blackhawks teammates were responsible for unpacking clothes and making them into outfits.
"It's kind of crazy," Hinostroza said, "you never think of how many kids are really in need out there. But it's nice that they have these organizations there to help and make sure all the kids are getting what they need."
Cradles and Crayons recently opened in Chicago and is on track to serve 16,000 children this year.
The episode will air Friday at 10 p.m. ET on EPIX.
The Blackhawks play the St. Louis Blues in the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic on Jan. 2. The program follows those teams and the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings, who play in the Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic on Jan. 1.
