If this whole hockey thing doesn't work out for Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon, maybe the Denver Nuggets, or the Harlem Globetrotters, should give him a call.
In a video posted to Twitter, MacKinnon is shown standing at halfcourt of the Nuggets practice court, facing away from the basket. He launches a shot over his head and... swish!
MacKinnon was filming a spot with Altitude TV reporter Kyle Keefe who gave him a big post-shot hug.
Perhaps the most underrated part of the clip (no, not Nuggets mascot Rocky under the basket) is that MacKinnon, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, is wearing the No. 27 jersey of Nuggets rookie guard Jamal Murray, the lone Canadian on Denver's roster.
