Coyotes team scope

Goalie Louis Domingue is expected to start for the Arizona Coyotes, who defeated the Colorado Avalanche 1-0 on Monday at Gila River Arena for their second win in row. Domingue, who is 3-5-0 in his past nine games and 3-10-1 on the road this season, hasn't started since March 3 when he made 32 saves in a 4-2 win against the Carolina Hurricanes. "This is a real good test for Louis," coach Dave Tippett told the Coyotes website. "It's going to be a hard game." Forward Shane Doan likely will play after a collision in warmups with Jakob Chychrun forced him to miss most of the first period against the Avalanche. "I haven't been hit that hard in a long, long time. I got the wind knocked out of me," Doan said. The Coyotes, who are 1-2-0 against the Los Angeles Kings this season, won 5-3 on Feb. 16 at Staples Center.

Kings team scope

Goalie Ben Bishop likely will start for the Kings, who are five points behind the St. Louis Blues for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference after a 2-1 loss to the Blues on Monday. Bishop hasn't played since March 4 when he made 17 saves in a 4-3 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Bishop is 0-1-1 since the Kings acquired him from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 26. "It definitely stinks, but at the same time we have another one [Tuesday], which is obviously a big one," captain Anze Kopitar said after the loss to St. Louis. The Kings will play the sixth of their seven-game homestand (3-2-0). They host the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday before a two-game road trip at the Calgary Flames on Sunday and at the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.
