WattCaufield

J.J. Watt is not just one of the NFL's most feared players, he's also quite the hockey strategist.

The Arizona Cardinals defensive end tweeted during Game 1 of the Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs that the game could use more Cole Caufield.

Caufield, the Canadiens 20-year-old highly-touted rookie, was a healthy scratch for Games 1 and 2 of the series.
But in Game 5, Caufield made perhaps the biggest play of the game, taking the puck away from Maple Leafs forward Alex Galchenyuk in the neutral zone and setting up teammate Nick Suzuki for the game-winning goal in overtime, executing a perfect 2-on-0 break.
Watt wasn't about to forget his original statement, tweeting "you're welcome" at the Canadiens' official account.

The connection?
Like Caufield, Watt played for the University of Wisconsin. And even though Watt was there a decade before Caufield [Watt played the 2009 and 2010 seasons at Wisconsin after one year at Central Michigan] the bond among Badgers is real according to Caufield.
"When you're a Badger, you're kind of a family," Caufield said. "No matter what your sport or where you come from, I think we're all kind of close. It's obviously nice to have a guy support you like that. He's a guy I look up to a lot."
