Blackhawks' Ladd to be game-time decision

Chicago forward returned home to be with wife for impending birth of their child

Chicago Blackhawks left wing Andrew Ladd will be a game-time decision for Game 1 of a Western Conference First Round series against the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center on Wednesday (9:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TVA Sports, SN360, FS-MW, CSN-CH).
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said Ladd returned to Chicago to be with his wife for the birth of their child.
Ladd had eight goals in 12 points with the Blackhawks after being acquired in a trade with the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 25.
