The newest member of the Anaheim Ducks, recently traded from the New Jersey Devils along with Joseph Blandisi in exchange for defenseman Sami Vatanen, got a wake-up call about his new home state: Drivers pump their own gas. Henrique tweeted a picture of Blandisi at the pump as he sat comfortably in the car.
New Jersey is one of just two states that forbids drivers from pumping their own gas, the other being Oregon. The ban on self-service gas stations in New Jersey began in 1949 and continues to this day. But not in California. Better get used to working the gas pump, guys.
