Bolts Best Player of the Month: Brandon Hagel 

The Bolts Best Player of the Month for December is one of the Bolts’ most underrated stars in Brandon Hagel.

The do-it-all winger notched 7 goals and 12 total points in the month of December, propelling the Lightning to an 8-3 record during that span. Hagel especially thrived in crucial road wins against the Panthers and Kraken, grabbing multipoint games in each.

Hagel is now up to a 17-24-41 line on the season, on pace for a huge year in one of the biggest roles of his young career. In early December, he was named to Team Canada alongside teammates Anthony Cirelli and Brayden Point for the February’s 4 Nations Face Off.

Hagel and the Lightning begin the new year with a three-game road trip out west.
