Five days into training camp, Head Coach Todd McLellan shared his thoughts on Sean Walker's progress over the past year and his hopes for Walker in the 2021 season.
"We think there is some power play opportunity for [Walker], he sees the ice very well. We feel good about his confidence level on the ice," Mclellan told the media. McLellan also touched on the status of Andreas Athanasiou and his takeaways from the World Junior Championships.

Cal Petersen, who is beginning his first full season with the Kings, speaks on his relationship with Jonathan Quick on and off the ice.
"Quick is an awesome guy and everybody knows he's a great competitor. I couldn't ask for a better goalie partner. It's going to be a good relationship and we'll be able to push each other," Petersen said.
Petersen also touched on getting his degree during the offseason and what it is going to take to get back up to speed.

Lastly, entering his second year with the Kings, Sean Walker talked about his comfort level playing on the left side as a right-hander, taking on a larger presence and his confidence level playing in the NHL.
"Fortunately, I was able to sign a four-year extension this off-season, so I do feel established a bit more, but you always have to come out and perform," Walker said.
