The LA Kings and Coca-Cola Teamed Up for Recycling Month

Before the final three LA Kings' home games in April, fans were encouraged to bring recyclable aluminum cans and bottles to STAPLES Center and, for every 10 items recycled, donors received one entry in a drawing for Kings' prizes.

Kings fans, with the help of Coca-Cola, contributed thousands of bottles and cans in three games while also donating money towards the purchase of Water Restoration Certificates. Through these combined efforts, 1,000,000 gallons of water will be restored in the Sacramento River Wetlands as a result of improvements to flow restoration.
To continue to support this initiative, fans are encouraged to make a FREE pledge to conserve water by texting KINGS to 474747. Your pledge will be matched with an additional 1,000 gallons of water restored to California ecosystems.
