2017-03-13-LA-Kings-Top-5-Plays-of-the-Week

Wow, what a week for the LA Kings.
They had to sit around for four days following their disappointing 4-3 loss against the Vancouver Canucks.
In the meantime, the two teams the Kings were chasing for a playoff spot were not making things any easier. The Calgary Flames were off extending their winning streak to nine games, and the St. Louis Blues have gone a four-game win streak of their own.

This is fine.
The Kings couldn't afford to stumble again. They needed to turn their season around while there was still time.
So, of course, they responded.
Let's check out the top plays from the week that was!

First goal in a Kings sweater, No. 620 for his career.

4) Brayden McNabb's Big Hit

Not only did this wake up Austin Watson...
...it also woke up the Kings.

3) Anze Kopitar's Move Leads to Marian Gaborik's Goal

!
Poor Matt Niskanen never had a chance.

A win way too close to comfort, but man what a win.

1) Adrian Kempe's First NHL Goal

I don't think anyone is happier than Kempe after this goal...
