Hockey is back! Kind of. At least it will be on January 13, when the 2020-21 56-game regular season begins.

Following the announcement from the NHL and NHLPA, fans took to social media to celebrate and share their thoughts on the season's return.

Our very own Alex Faust was quick to remind everyone of the hot streak that the Kings ended on and hope to continue at the start of this season.

The Kings also opened up to Twitter to ask the audience who would bury the Kings goal.

Anze Kopitar? Drew Doughty? Dustin Brown? Adrian Kempe? Quinton Byfield? Here are some of social media's responses.

Tweet from @angelpuff1987: I really wanna see Byfield to score first or Either Kopitar or Doughty but cant wait for the season to start🏒🖤🥅🚨

Tweet from @wackman3209: Feeling a great season by Kempe, so gonna go with Adrian Kempe

Tweet from @RickHentges: I really don't care, just as long as the Kings make the playoffs!! Go Kings Go!!
