It's a bond between two families that started in the 1980s.
It started with a love for hockey between Trevor Lewis' dad, Randy, and Daniel Brickley's dad, Matt.
While they watched their boys grow up on the ice rink, they now get to sit in the stands together again.
This won't be the first time they got to see their two boys play for the LA Kings as they were both at STAPLES Center to watch Brickley play in his first NHL game.

But this time, it's a little more emotional and special as the Kings are playing in Utah, the home of the Brickley and Lewis families.
"I think it's cool for our families to get to watch that," Lewis said. "Obviously playing in Salt Lake, it's going to be a pretty special moment."

Even though Lewis and Brickley are separated by eight years, their relationship is something to be cherished.
"Him having known me my entire life, it's pretty wild to think we're on the same NHL team. He's a real character guy, hard working, someone I look up to," said Brickley.
We're sure that it will be a night to remember not only for these two players, but for their families and friends as they get to watch their hometown boys return to Salt Lake to play an NHL game.
