Figure Skating Coach Frank Carroll Drops the Puck at LA Kings Game

Just a few months after he retired at the age of 80, the LA Kings honored former US Figure Skating Coach Frank Carroll at STAPLES Center.
Ahead of the Kings matchup against the Carolina Hurrcanes, Carroll was joined by former athletes Michelle Kwan, Evan Lysacek and Linda Fratianne as they showed support for their former coach.

Carroll coached at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, the home and practice facility of the Kings. He was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 1996 and was the first figure skating coach to be named the Olympic Coach of the Year.
Albeit different styles, there were so many talented skaters on the ice ahead of the game...

Carroll will enjoy retirement at his home in Palm Springs, while continuing to work with U.S. Figure Skating and giving back through the junior development program.
