NHL-Entry-Draft-2019

The National Hockey League (NHL) announced yesterday that the 2019 NHL Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday, April 9 in Toronto. It will be broadcast as a one-hour show on NBCSN starting at 5 pm.
The lottery will determine the order of selection for the first 15 picks in the first round of the draft, and all 15 clubs who don't make the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be included.

The first three, and arguably most important lottery picks, will determine the three clubs who will draft first, second and third overall. The 12 clubs not selected for spots one through three will be assigned selections four through 15, in inverse order of regular-season points.
As it stands today, the Kings sit in 29th place with 58 points and have an 11.5% chance of landing the top spot and a 29% chance of landing one of the top three picks.
Below are the 2019 odds:
The top picks are expected to be: Jack Hughes, Kaapo Kakko, Vasily Podkolzin, Dylan Cozens, Kirby Dach, Trevor Zegras, Alex Turcotte, Bowen Byram, Peyton Krebs, Matt Boldy and Thomas Harley. More information on these prospects to come!
The 2019 NHL Entry Draft will be held at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.
