New "Retail Round Up" Will Give Islanders' Fans the Option to Add a Contribution to Easterseals to All Team Store Purchases

, today announced that it will become an official partner of the New York Islanders.

Easterseals was founded in 1919 as one of the first organizations to aid people with disabilities and continues to provide programs that enable those with special needs to achieve equality, dignity, and independence in their own communities. The new partnership is aimed at raising awareness across the New York Islanders fanbase and the entire community about the services provided by Easterseals NY.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary season, the Islanders are one of the National Hockey League's most storied franchises with four Stanley Cups. The team plays in front of the most loyal fans in the sport at UBS Arena at Belmont Park, its new state of the art home.
Easterseals NY brand and programing will be featured throughout the season during games as a Hockey With A Heart partner, which includes sharing in four 50/50 raffles as well as off-ice activities, events and promotions such as job fairs at UBS Arena.

The Islanders will also be launching a new "Retail Round Up" to give fans the option to donate to Easterseals NY with every team store purchase at Isles Lab. The team also said that proceeds from its Race to the Rink 5K run will benefit Easterseals NY.
