  • One hour and 15 minutes of off-ice training led by The Performance Academy's Bill Burniston, Tim Gleason, and staff.

The skills learned at these ages will have a very significant effect on the level of play that is ultimately achieved in the player's future, with skating being the #1 skill needed to develop!

Adult Hockey Clinics

Please check back for more adult hockey opportunities.

The Carolina Hurricanes' adult clinics give players an opportunity to strengthen their skills on and off the ice. The on-ice portions focus on skill development through small-area games and the ADM model, in which players work on skating, puck handling and passing skills in a competitive and fun environment. The off-ice portions give these athletes an idea of exercises they can do on their own to not only get stronger and healthier, but also prevent injuries. A video session is provided to show and explain some of the key areas of the game that will help positioning and overall team play. These clinics focus on development, showing that you can improve at any age.

Our adult clinics are conducted by Manager of Youth and Amateur Hockey and Hurricanes alum Shane Willis. Please email him at shanew@carolinahurricanes.com for more information.
