It might almost be St. Patrick's Day, but the Golden Knights didn't have much puck luck tonight. Vegas fell to the visiting Minnesota Wild, 4-2, in their final meeting of the season. Though the Golden Knights rallied late, a pair of third period goals weren't enough to tame the Wild.
These are the three takeaway's:

1. Hometown advantage
In his first appearance in front of his hometown crowd, Las Vegas native Jason Zucker put on a show. He opened the scoring for Minnesota in the first period to give them the lead that Vegas was never able to get ahead of. Zucker ended the night with a goal and an assist.
2. Haula's hot streak
Erik Haula has scored four goals in his last three games. Haula, who was drafted by the Minnesota Wild and played there from 2013-17, scored for the Golden Knights in the third period to extend his goal streak to three games (4-1).

"I know first-hand you've got to play good hockey, your best hockey at the end of the year and that will help you a lot. Otherwise it's going to be hard, its very hard to turn it just at the end of the year. Yeah, we just keep learning lessons the way we have to play and what makes us successful and we have got to see that on Sunday, we have to."
3. Onto the next one
The Golden Knights will look to bounce back in their next game at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Calgary Flames at 1 p.m. PT. They've now lost their last four games on home ice (LAK, OTT, NJD, MIN), but need to leave the past in the past. Vegas has six more games at home and plenty of time to make up for their poor start to the homestand.
