Behind the Vegas Ice, Episode 6 synopsis:
In "Welcome to Vegas" the Vegas Golden Knights are finally getting a team of NHL players. An exciting week for the Vegas Golden Knights kicks-off with the grand opening of their newly renovated team store, "The Armory" at T-Mobile Arena, and the unveiling of their new team jersey. Then, go behind the scenes of the NHL Expansion Draft to see which 30 players are selected from the league to make up the Golden Knights' historic first roster. Plus, meet some of the men of the Vegas team as they explore their new hometown.
Behind the Vegas Ice, Episode 7 synopsis:
In "The Next Generation of Knights" team executives are fresh off the expansion draft in Las Vegas and as they head to Chicago for the annual NHL Entry Draft. The dreams of a dozen young hockey players come true as the draft brings them to the new Las Vegas team with hopes of one day making the team's roster. Days later, the Vegas Golden Knights host their inaugural Development Camp at the Las Vegas Ice Center where 44 young and talented players get the chance to practice, learn, grow and compete for a spot on the team's roster for their historic first season in the NHL.
On July 21, Episode 6 and Episode 7 will be re-broadcast on Cox Channel 96/1096 at approximately 10:30 p.m. PT following the conclusion of the San Diego Padres baseball game. On July 22 and 23 both episodes will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. PT. Please check your local listings for additional rebroadcasts. Behind the Vegas Ice is an original 10-episode, behind-the-scenes docu-drama about the Vegas Golden Knights, an NHL expansion team and the first major league professional sports franchise based in Las Vegas, Nev. The docu-drama features never-before-seen interviews as it records the ambitious journey of professional ice hockey's arrival in Southern Nevada.
