LAST TIME OUT
Vegas closed its four-game homestand with a 6-4 victory against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night at T-Mobile Arena. Chandler Stephenson led the way with a career-high four points (4A) while Mark Stone (1G, 2A) and Max Pacioretty (1G, 2A) had three points each. OPPOSITION UPDATE
Boston enters Tuesday's tilt in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with 30 points and an overall record of 14-8-2. The Bruins have a tall mountain to climb in their own division as they sit behind the Florida Panthers (40 points), Toronto Maple Leafs (40 points) and Tampa Bay Lightning (38 points). The Bruins are coming off a three-game trip that saw them fall to the Vancouver Canucks in a shootout, 2-1, before defeating the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2 and Calgary Flames, 4-2. The B's have put up a 3-0-2 record in December.
Brad Marchand is the team's leading scorer with 27 points (11G, 16A) in 21 games. Patrice Bergeron (9G, 13A) and David Pastrnak (8G, 13A) round out the Bruins' top line. Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark have split the load in the Boston net and have won seven games each.
WHEN LAST WE MET
The Golden Knights are facing the Bruins for the first time since Jan. 21, 2020, at TD Garden. Boston got the better of Vegas in that contest with a 3-2 win. Nicolas Hague scored his first NHL goal in that game, but it was not enough as the Bruins swept the season series with their second win of the year against the Golden Knights.

KEYS TO THE GAME
Unfriendly Confines: The Golden Knights haven't won at TD Garden since joining the NHL in 2017. Vegas will look for its first victory in Boston in franchise history and hopes to end a five-game losing streak to the Bruins since 2017.
Start the Trip Strong: Vegas is on a four-game road trip that features matchups against Boston, New Jersey, the New York Rangers and New York Islanders. While the points in each contest are valuable, the chance to put together a positive road trip starts when the puck drops in Boston.
