That's the what - but the why has been a question hockey folks have been asking all year.
The Vegas Flu - a theory put forth by many which suggests the nightlife in Vegas has sapped the opposition of its strength - is one such idea.
Vegas has a 21-12-3 record on the road which prompted goalie Marc-Andre Fleury to say last week: "I guess we're contagious. We bring it on the road too."
Vegas went 4-1 on the road last week including a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils to open the trip.
The team has 13 games left, eight at home and five on the road

Veteran forward Cody Eakin says being at home is great for players especially with T-Mobile as the home rink.
"It's great just to sleep in your own bed and for us - to play in front of our fans," said Eakin.
"The energy in our building is incredible. I catch myself looking up at the jumbotron and watching the fans when I'm on the bench after the whistle and before the next faceoff. It's such a party. They do it right and it's great to play here."

Notes: Marc-Andre Fleury will start in goal for Vegas…James Neal skated with the team in a red no-contact jersey and is listed as day-to-day. Reilly Smith is also listed as day-to-day.

With a win tonight…

-Tonight marks the final game the Golden Knights will play from a team in the Eastern Time Zone during the regular season

The Sunshine Kid
