VEGAS (December 3, 2021) - The Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights facility, Lifeguard Arena, was named Redevelopment Project of the Year by the City of Henderson, the City announced at an awards dinner on Wednesday.

"We're honored to accept this award from the City of Henderson and take great pride in the positive impact Lifeguard Arena has made to the Water Street District," said Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. "The City has been a great partner ever since we introduced the concept of the arena, which has been the ideal home for the Silver Knights."
Lifeguard Arena is a 120,000-square-foot facility that features two regulation-sized ice rinks. It opened in November 2020 and has contributed to the continued revitalization of Henderson's downtown Water Street District.
Lifeguard Arena serves as the official practice home of the Henderson Silver Knights and also offers a variety of community based programming. The arena is home to MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub as well as The Livery, the official team store of the Henderson Silver Knights.
