The Vegas Golden Knights (8-2-1) had their eight-game home unbeaten streak snapped by the Anaheim Ducks (6-6-3) in a 1-0 defeat on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
The Ducks outshot the Golden Knights, 13-4, in the opening frame, but the period expired without a goal for either side. In the second period, Anaheim edged Vegas in shots by an 8-7 margin as the teams entered the third frame still deadlocked at 0-0. Max Comtois broke the scoreless tie with his sixth goal of the year and the goal held as the only one of the game in a 1-0 Ducks win. John Gibson earned the shutout with 21 saves while Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 stops in the losing effort.
