The Golden Knights extinguished a big flame today in more than one way as they shutout the Calgary Flames 4-0 and ended their four-game losing streak on home ice. Vegas' win extends their season record against the Flames to 3-0-0 and they'll meet for the final game of the regular season on April 7.
These are the three takeways from today's game:

1. Wild Bill
William Karlsson is back at it again. Today he recorded his second hat trick of the season. Karlsson had the natural hat trick with all three goals scored during second period. His three goals today put him in sole possession of fourth place in the NHL in goals. Karlsson leads the league with a plus-39.

2. Stats, stats, stats
With the win, the Golden Knights extend their record when scoring first to 30-5-1. Despite being outshot 20-6 by the Flames through the first twenty minutes, they came out guns blazing in the second period and scored four goals. Vegas is now 17-3-2 against Pacific Division teams.
3. Donuts For Everyone
Marc-Andre Fleury collected his 401st win today, which ties him with Chris Osgood for the 12th most all-time wins amongst goaltenders. Fleury also completed his fourth shutout of the season and 48th of his NHL career in his outstanding performance, stopping all 42 shots he faced. Fleury is now 10-3-1 in his career against the Flames. He is tied with Nashville's Pekka Rinne with a .929 save percentage.
