The Golden Knights and T-Mobile Arena recommend that you purchase your parking in advance, plan ahead and arrive early.

The LA skinny: The Kings have just returned from a preseason series in China with the Vancouver Canucks. Jet lag is in their future. Major chances in LA over the offseason as Darryl Sutter and Dean Lombardi were cut loose. John Stevens is the new head coach and Rob Blake is now GM. The Kings are getting younger but still have key cogs such as Jeff Carter, Drew Doughty and Anze Kopitar on the roster.

The Vegas skinny: Dress rehearsal for the Golden Knights as they play their first pre-season game at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas will play its regular season home opener on Oct. 10. This will be head coach Gerard Gallant's first time behind the bench at T-Mobile Arena as well as the first time the Golden Knights skate as a group on the rink on the Strip. Look for Calvin Pickard to start in goal. Gallant has been using a line featuring Vadim Shipachyov at center flanked by Reilly Smith and Jonathan Marchessault as his top unit. Free agents Tomas Hyka and Brad Hunt lead Vegas in goals and scoring, respectively.
