The Golden Knights take on the Calgary Flames this afternoon at 1 p.m. PT. Vegas lost 4-2 to the Minnesota Wild on Friday night, but they hope to break their current four game losing streak on home ice.
These are the three keys to the game:

1. Fast to forget
The Golden Knights need to forget about the recent home record, simple as that. The team needs to move on and get back to their game. The past is the past and that's where it needs to stay. Going into today's game, they need to think about what's next and not about Friday night's game.
2. Score first
Vegas has had success all season when scoring first and lately, they've gotten behind early. In recent games, they've given up too many scoring chances and they haven't been able to put themselves in a position to win. The Golden Knights are 29-5-1 when they score first and they've had success with maintaining the lead.
3. Play with urgency
The Golden Knights are just 6 points ahead of the second place San Jose Sharks. Now is the time where they need to play with the urgency that they've been able to play with most of this season. Today is a divisional matchup, which makes winning even more vital. Vegas is 16-3-2 against Pacific Division teams this season.
