The Anaheim Ducks will host Angels Night Presented by McDonald's of SoCal on Thursday, Jan. 6 at Honda Center as the team takes on the Detroit Red Wings (7 p.m.). This year, the Angels are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2002 World Series Championship. Members of the 2002 World Series champions including Adam Kennedy, Tim Salmon, Jeff DaVanon and General Manager Bill Stoneman, will be in attendance for the pregame ceremonial puck drop. To pay tribute to the 20th Anniversary of the Angels World Series Championship, the iconic Rally Monkey will drop the ceremonial first puck. Fans can also take a picture with the Rally Monkey starting at 6 p.m. at the Puck Drop Patio on the North side of Honda Center for a suggested donation of $5 to the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.

Angels Night, an annual partnership since 2016, will feature a blend of Ducks and Angels gameday presentations, co-branded merchandise, Angels giveaways and many more Angels-themed surprises. Prior to the game, the team will sport a Ducks/Angels co-branded jersey during warmups. In addition, Ducks goaltender John Gibson will wear an Angels themed mask during the game which will be auctioned for charity. During the game, one lucky row in attendance will win an exclusive Angels/Ducks co-branded prize pack. Fans can also win a prize pack during the game by participating in Puck Drop Patio activities or entering a text-to-win contest in the arena.
The two teams also work together to benefit the community, as autographed memorabilia from both organizations will be available to bid on in the evening's auction in support of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation and Angels Baseball Foundation. Fans at the game or watching on the Bally Sports SoCal broadcast can support Angels Night by participating in the online auction featuring autographed Ducks player warm-up jerseys, the jerseys worn by Angels alumni during the honorary puck drop and additional Ducks memorabilia. Items will be available to bid on Thursday, Jan. 6, starting at 5 p.m. PT and the auction will run until Friday, Jan. 7 at 12 p.m. PT. To place a bid, text Ducks to 76278 or visit AnaheimDucks.com/ingameauctions. All proceeds will benefit the Angels Baseball Foundation and Anaheim Ducks Foundation.
Ducks Night is also a special evening for the Ducks' flagship radio station, AM830-KLAA, which provides live in-game coverage for both teams. Throughout the evening, long-time Ducks radio broadcasters Dan Wood and Steve Carroll will catch up with members of the Angels organization during exclusive interviews.
Fans are encouraged to follow along on social media for exciting behind-the-scenes content. Followers of the Ducks' social media platforms can use the hashtag #AngelsNight22 to join the conversation or enjoy photos and videos throughout the evening.
The Ducks look to continue their Angels Night win streak as they take on the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m.; the Ducks bested the Arizona Coyotes, 4-2, during the last Angels Night in 2020. Fans can purchase a special ticket package for the event, starting at $25 per ticket, to receive an exclusive baseball-themed Ryan Getzlaf Angels Bobblehead at AnaheimDucks.com/LAAPacks. Fans hoping for just a ticket without the bobble can still enjoy an exciting matchup with individual tickets at AnaheimDucks.com/LAATix.
The Angels will also bring back the quack for Ducks Night at Angel Stadium on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022. The first 25,000 fans in attendance for Ducks Night will receive a Hockey Helmet Beanie, courtesy of Bally Sports. For more information, please visit Angels.com/promotions.
